For 2010, we have changed our operations to focus on PIR. We had hoped that Oregon Raceway Park would have addressed their safety issues and amenities, but they have elected not to. At the prices they charge, it does not make financial sense to put on events at ORP without bathrooms, running water, electricity, telephones, turn worker communications, etc., etc. Until those changes are made, Cascade Tracktime will not conduct events at ORP. Portland International Raceway offers two configurations, one without the Festival Curves and the other with the Festival Curves. On the event schedule you can clearly see which configuration we will ride that day. Those of you who have not ridden PIR with the Festival Curves, I highly recommend that you do so. It changes the track offering a more technical element while still maintaining the high speed and flow that we all enjoy.

Our track events are designed to provide riders of all skill levels and abilities a safe and fun atmosphere to enjoy motorcycle track riding and improve your riding skill. However, our events tend to run at a faster pace than many other track days; please keep this in mind when selecting your ride group. Remember, there is no better learning environment or safer place than on a closed course or race track: Just you, your motorcycle and a few of your riding buddies along with our exemplary instructor staff.

Combined, Cascade Tracktime instructors annually ride tens of thousands of miles on the track and have over 200 years of track riding experience both in competition and recreation. Our instructors are here for one purpose: To help facilitate a safe and fun event while offering free of charge instruction to anyone interested in that service.

Economic times are tough. At Cascade Tracktime we have reduced our rates significantly and have incorporated the MotoClub into the program for even more savings.
